Regional Alliances: Making Connections for Inclusive Higher Ed

Regional alliances are a cornerstone of the Think College Inclusive Higher Education Network. These alliances consist of staff from inclusive postsecondary education (IPSE) programs, state leaders, and individuals collaborating to enhance opportunities for students with intellectual disability within specific geographic areas.

Nearly every state in the country is affiliated with a specific region, and currently, there are three well-established alliances: the Southeast Postsecondary Education Alliance (SEPSEA), Midwest Inclusive Postsecondary Education Alliance (MIPSA), and Great Lakes Inclusive Postsecondary Education Alliance (GLIPSEA). Additionally, our collaborative efforts extend to several emerging alliances as we continue to foster connections and support initiatives across the country.

To facilitate easy access to information about both established and emerging regional alliances, we created a dedicated webpage. On this webpage, you will find:

  • Detailed information about each alliance, including websites and contact information
  • News and updates about ongoing activities of the alliances
  • Links to resources for and about the regional alliances
